Kierfchen.lu is a free platform connecting everyone interested in fruit trees and traditional orchards (lux.: Bongerten). The platform features an interactive map showcasing listings from across Luxembourg, organized by topic. You can filter listings by type (Need/Have) and category (Work / Commercial / Fruit & Nuts / Miscellaneous).

Kierfchen.lu also provides information on traditional orchards and a “News” section featuring current topics and events. You can subscribe to a newsletter.

Anyone can publish a listing on kierfchen.lu, regardless of where they live. All you need is a user account. To display your listing on the map, simply provide your postal code and town (in Luxembourg).

Everyone is welcome on kierfchen.lu, whether you’re an individual, a farming business, a land manager/tenant, a landowner, an animal keeper, a restaurant, or a local producer.

kierfchen.lu is a free platform. Browsing and posting ads is completely free. All you need to post ads is a user account.

• Restaurants that have featured menus/dishes with local orchard fruit during the “Mount vum Bongert” campaign

Additionally, you can also find offers under the category “Advisory services” as part
of projects by the Biological Stations. These include, for example, tree planting, orchard care,
hedge planting, creating deadwood hedges, setting up birdhouses and nesting aids, as well
as creating wildflower strips.

You decide which of your data is publicly visible on kierfchen.lu and whether you grant access to your trees or orchard. You don’t have to provide an exact location. You can publish your ad completely anonymously. Interested parties can then contact you via a contact form. As a result, you’ll see the email address of the interested party and can get in touch with them.

No. kierfchen.lu is not a sales platform, but rather a way to connect fruit tree owners, consumers, producers, animal keepers, and all other interested parties.

To create a user account, you must provide:

• Name
• First name
• E-mail address

When posting a listing, you only need to enter a Luxembourg postal code and town so that
your listing can be placed on the interactive map. You decide for yourself which details,
such as your name, exact address, phone number, or email should be visible when your listing
is published. Alternatively, you can choose to publish your ad completely anonymously.

If someone contacts you through an anonymous ad via the contact form, your username
and email address will be shared with them so you can respond. For more details on data
